Process

I applied through a career fair at my university.

They reviewed my resume and, showing interest, scheduled an interview on campus for the following morning.

The interview was quite relaxed compared to others. It included a mix of basic behavioral and technical questions, along with further discussion about my resume.

The interview lasted for approximately 45 minutes. The entire process took about two weeks.

Questions

Behavioral Questions

  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
  • What other companies are you interested in now?
  • What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  • Talk about your resume.
  • Talk about extracurricular activities you did or do.
  • On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best), how do you rate your comfort level using Google to find answers?

Technical Questions

  • How do you know when data has achieved third normal form (in terms of relational databases)?
  • What type of visualization tools have you used?
  • Two computers are connected to a switch, and communication isn't working between them. How do you troubleshoot this?
  • Describe how you would theoretically set up a cloud environment.
  • What is AWS (Amazon Web Services)?

There were more questions, but I can't remember them all now.
