Process

I was referred by an employer, so I skipped the screening.

I progressed until the last round, which involved five one-on-one sessions on Webex.

Three of the five interviewers were very knowledgeable and conducted the interviews professionally. Another interviewer seemed preoccupied with his own work and wasn't really paying much attention to my answers; at least, that's how he made me feel.

The final interviewer was particularly adamant and rude. He didn't know Python very well, despite interviewing me on it. For example, he didn't know about the for:else construct in Python. I agree that most people may not know about it, but he clearly denied its existence. I can recognize when an interviewer is testing my confidence, and this was not one of those instances. When I tried to convince him it existed, he muttered, "I don't know what version of Python you are using; I have never seen that... Anyway, let's proceed."

As expected, I was rejected. Of course, there were some questions I couldn't answer, and that might have been the sole reason for my rejection.

I asked the recruiter for feedback, but the reply was that it isn't their company policy to provide it.
