Pros

Cisco is a company that takes care of its employees. I've seen Cisco HR go out of its way to make sure employees are being taken care of. In such a large company, there is still a bit of a family feel.

Cons

Continual transitions, re-orgs, and ever-changing management expectations leave teams often caught on ever-shifting ground. This leads to missed expectations between employees and management, and a lot of stress, frustration, and even fear as a result.

Advice to Management

Better manage transitions and re-orgs and employee-management relationships.
