Nice pay, work-life balance is okay (at the moment).
This applies mostly to Singapore.
There's an increasing number of Indian engineers, which would have been fine if there were a corresponding increase in engineers from other nationalities.
The situation is slowly and increasingly biased against work-life balance, due to engineers overpromising and underdelivering. I blame this on the Indian inability to say no to the customer.
Engineers should be trusted advisers, but are now increasingly becoming "yes" men to customers, approving bad designs, etc. This leads to further escalations and incidents due to this bad design.
Chuck Robbins is right, but middle management has a way of complicating things. Politics have pushed competent people out of the company.
