Pros

Having smart engineers as your peers raises your level.

Cons

A large company, and any decision takes longer than it should.

Advice to Management
  1. Hire people with technical competency to be managers. They should not be just people managers; they need to understand at least 25% of the technology stack.

  2. Don't reorganize the team hierarchy every 15 days and say, "The only constant is change." Thank God they are not building bridges.
