I worked as a contractor, and it was my first job. I was honest with my lead regarding my career growth but didn't get a chance to learn technical stuff. The Cisco team lead discriminated against me. I talked to my contractor about it, but no action was taken. I had to leave the company. The Cisco team lead ruined my career. I wish there were some way for contractors to complain about mental harassment.
Managers should talk to employees themselves. Never trust feedback given by team leads.
