Pros

The company seems to be genuinely interested in keeping employees' mental health as a priority. They also really push training and development. Whether for career progression or personal growth, there is no distinction in priority.

Cons

As part of a recently acquired company, joining Cisco has had negative implications. Our business unit is still doing amazing and would have meant large bonuses pre-acquisition. Now, it means heavily reduced bonuses because Cisco as a whole did not do well.

Advice to Management

If there is a hiring freeze, scrap the 2-year limit on contractors. We cannot hire our team contractor because of the freeze, but we cannot afford to lose a member of our team either.
