Pros

Opportunity to work at a big, reputable company. Many people are experts at what they do. There are a lot of internal opportunities, and employees are encouraged to move around within the company.

Cons

Being a mechanical engineer at a networking company is no easier here than anywhere else. The management is extremely top-heavy. The co-op program is run almost like a sweatshop.

Advice to Management

Managers should be more concerned about the individual growth of their direct reports. The co-op program is almost run like a sweatshop.
