Depending on the teams, diversity is not always apparent. People tend to hire and work with the same ethnicity, which doesn't promote diversity nor cohesiveness, and creates somewhat of a prejudiced environment if you are not of the same ethnicity.
Rotate assignments and people to break up groups and promote "Diversity".
Watch groups that don't have diversity and break them apart.
Look for excellence instead of negatives. Promote people with excellent people skills, not just talent.
