Pros

Competitive pay and benefits.

Getting to work on products that build the world's network infrastructure.

There are tons of training classes that you can take at no cost.

Cons

Cisco has become so large that it can't effectively innovate anymore. It seems like all the new and best tech coming from Cisco is a product of recent acquisitions.

Advice to Management

Stop running the company with a spreadsheet and put the engineers back in charge.

Without a focus on substantial innovation and talent retention, the days of Cisco leading the telecom market could come to an end.
