Pros

Overall Compensation, Benefits.

Great place to develop and learn.

Used to be filled with a diverse, talented workforce, but things have changed over the years.

Cons

Lack of ethnic diversity in Engineering.

If you're not part of the friends and family program, you will quickly get discouraged by the unethical work environment, favoritism, hiring practices, and promotions.

Work-life balance:

Heard of groups demanding engineers to come work on Sundays while preaching to have fun.

Over the years, through numerous restructurings and reorganizations, they've lost key talent to maintain and keep the quality of core software.

Advice to Management

Too late. Engineering management through the ranks is completely penetrated by one ethnic group with a third-world sweatshop mentality. HR needs to review hiring practices and sources of candidates going to managers.
