Pros

It's quite impressive and earns more recognition to say I work at Cisco. Additionally, Cisco provides more opportunities to learn new things.

Cons

We typically work a minimum of 60-70 hours per week, and the work-life balance is virtually nonexistent in the company.

Throughout my career, I've never experienced a balanced work-life situation.

Every task is given a very tight deadline. When collaborating with US employees, they receive more generous timelines and relaxation time if they need to work longer hours. However, in India, we never experience such accommodations.

Advice to Management

Indian employees are not machines to work 60-70 hours a week. If they do, they deserve fair compensation. Compare market standards and pay hardworking employees accordingly. Managers should be educated that employees have families and need a work-life balance.
