Conservative management with an agile development environment
An excellent Scrum Master is assigned to each project, along with a good development environment that includes a great laptop (Mac or PC), using GitHub and Git for change management, and Slack for team collaboration. Work-life balance is good, with good benefits.
However, management tells you what they want to hear instead of following the agile idea that the developers can better assess the health of the project. Recruiters reinforce management with scare tactics.
I think Cisco is going in the right direction. However, there is work still to be done.
