This is my individual view; views may differ depending on one's specific circumstances. I spent more than a decade with Cisco and developed my career as a senior lead in my domain. The company and the management support in all they can. It's up to you to want it and to achieve it.
Overall, great culture, great people, great management. Couldn't ask for more.
As in every large company, re-orgs, changes, etc.
