Overall, a great company to work for
Working at Cisco becomes like being in a very large family. There is a tremendous understanding that your coworkers are watching out for you, willing to help at a moment's notice, and truly care about your success. I worked here for over 20 years and had a very difficult time choosing to leave.
The pay is very good, but lagging some of the competition.
Focus more on creating and selling products, and less on social issues.
Cisco is a high-tech company and has been distracted in recent years.
