Loads of work.
Some smart people can stay not work as hard and yet manage to get the name and fame. Is this called politics?
No new development. Mostly a maintenance mode of work.
Consider rewarding the real work and the ones doing politics, or provide a perception.
Don't go by an opportunist using displays and creating high visibility. Use your own judgment from the real work. Take time to analyze what work has been done.
