Good place to work
Like any large company, if you land on the right team (of which there are a few at Cisco India, so ask around before you join the team), you get to work on challenging projects with good visibility and appreciation.
Very friendly managers who are very open to ideas and criticism alike.
Senior management (based in the US) does not understand the ground realities of the Indian employees. ("You want a hike? Employees in the US have not had a hike for 2 years! You had yours last year.")
The US employees of your team, who in most cases do almost the same, if not less, work than you, can seem to have more name recognition and appreciation.
Treat the Indian engineers fairly.
