There is no real R&D going on. Cisco wants to be huge, but there is no concrete vision. It's more of a bank, with a lot of buying and selling.
Staying at Cisco for long could end your career due to lack of challenge.
They don't have uniform policies across countries.
Policies are biased, and Indian employees are taken for granted.
Do some real R&D. For growth in the industry, you need vision, which is lacking. Have uniform policies. Reduce layoff frequencies so that employees can do some real innovations. Have a CEO from a technical background.
