I haven't seen any so far. I joined Cisco during the pandemic. They give time off once in a while, but it doesn't account for anything. A no-meeting day isn't really meeting-free. US managers don't really follow this. Why even have it then?
The number of PTO days per year is very low.
There is an unnecessary mandatory shutdown. This year, employees in India had to take 7 days out of their 18 PTO days, leaving very limited options for the rest of the year.
If you work for a US team, you won't receive any year-end gifts. Other teams receive quite a lot of gifts.
The budget for setting up a work-from-home environment is limited.
There are no programs or employee engagement activities. The team I work with doesn't organize any, and Cisco as a whole does not conduct any events.
It has been work, work, and all-day work ever since I joined Cisco.
Consider conducting some programs or employee engagement activities, and removing the shutdown altogether.
The experience was really good overall. Although certain questions seemed irrelevant, like file system architecture, it was overall a good mix of OS, DBMS, and computer network fundamentals. Thank you for your time.
The interview process consists of three rounds: 1. Online assessment (Data Structures and Algorithms) 2. Technical interview (LeetCode Medium x 2) 3. Managerial interview (Behavioral-based questions) Topics covered include tree-based questions, dyn
First Round – DSA & Networking Focused on data structures & algorithms (DSA). Included computer networking concepts. Second Round – Techno-Managerial Based on your projects. Covered operating systems (OS). Covered computer networks (CN) again, but
