I really loved working here. The tech stack is totally dependent on the team, but I got to work on hot technologies like Kafka, Cassandra, etc.
Teammates were amazing and supportive. Work-life balance was great. There were many team lunches, team outings, and other activities. This depends on how enthusiastic your team is, but overall Cisco is a chill place.
Campus is amazing. You can sit and work even from the chai point.
Overall, it's a great place to work.
Pay is on the lower side, and increments are not that great.
It can get a bit lethargic, so might not be the best place to start your career.
However, it's also a bit risky later in your career, too, as you can get laid off without any warning. Entire teams are laid off. Now, the layoff is very fair (extremely good compensation is given), but can be a bit stressful if you are high up on the ladder.
The experience was really good overall. Although certain questions seemed irrelevant, like file system architecture, it was overall a good mix of OS, DBMS, and computer network fundamentals. Thank you for your time.
The interview process consists of three rounds: 1. Online assessment (Data Structures and Algorithms) 2. Technical interview (LeetCode Medium x 2) 3. Managerial interview (Behavioral-based questions) Topics covered include tree-based questions, dyn
First Round – DSA & Networking Focused on data structures & algorithms (DSA). Included computer networking concepts. Second Round – Techno-Managerial Based on your projects. Covered operating systems (OS). Covered computer networks (CN) again, but
