Pros

No work pressure.

One can relax more, do small work, and show it off as something big.

Maintain friendship with managers and get what you want.

Cons

Lot of politics in the organization. Limited encouragement for technical people. More politics than encouragement for the good work done.

Advice to Management

Start encouraging technical people. Drastic changes in the leadership are required to prevent the fall of Cisco, or else it will have to just depend on acquisitions.
