Pros
  1. If you are working from the office, then you get free snacks.
  2. If you think this brand name will add value to your resume, then you've hit the jackpot.
Cons
  1. Micromanagement.

  2. Partial behavior from management between employees and contractors: Making employees leads or in-charge without adequate years of experience to boss around contractors.

  3. Fake promotion or promise of 6 hours of work a day. It easily gets extended to 10+ hours, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, every single day, one had to work a 12-hour shift after managing all chores at home.

  4. Too many unnecessary discussions and team meetings in the name of "fun at work" or showing concern for employee well-being. In reality, this is just a waste of time for employees and only a task getting ticked under the manager's bucket.

  5. Very unprofessional Agile implementation where the Scrum master assigns work to developers, and the manager has unrealistic expectations on timelines.

  6. They organize weird sessions to dig into a person's life in a room full of people, making you vulnerable and sensitive information public.

  7. No office parties are sponsored by the company; they come out of the employee's pocket. A contract employee doesn't earn as much as a regular employee, but they make the situation too sticky to avoid.

Advice to Management
  1. Please work towards ensuring a healthy work-life balance for long-term sustainability.
