Pros

Flexible working culture. Cab facility. Campus Facilities. Working with the best minds. RSUs and ESPP. Leave policies are good. Decent pay. Internet reimbursement. Company-sponsored registration to most of the popular learning resources (Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, Pluralsight, Udemy, etc).

Cons

Few egoistic, short-tempered managers (especially in NFGW/Firewall/Security BU) can make your life hell. This may happen in any company, but it's mentioned here as I have seen and experienced it.

With respect to the above point, I have seen many team members under such managers go through serious stress-related health issues, up to the point of getting admitted to hospitals, meditation centers, or starting counseling sessions for depression.

Internal changes are possible but have to go through a lengthy bureaucratic process.

Grade changes or promotions take a very long time.

Hikes are not aggressive, and if you are staying long, your pay will be drastically less compared to your peers outside.

Advice to Management

Pay correction as per market parity.

Make internal transfers smooth (at least for high performers).

If, after joining the team, multiple employees get serious stress-related health issues, it is obvious that the manager/leader should be held accountable and at the least asked to be a bit more respectful towards the team members and treat them with dignity, no matter the workload.

(If you are claiming among the best places to work for, such incidents should not be ignored at any cost.)
