OK, work-life balance, remote work, some really cool people.
Arrogant management, big focus on OPEX. The way the company progresses is by running layoff marathons every 3 months. There is no appreciation. People get fired if they have opinions different than their manager, and HR covers up all those cases. The leadership has no clue about the products they are asking engineers to build. Things get built and scrapped and rebuilt, and to cover the failure, it's presented as a learning curve (learning when everyone already knew it?).
The career opportunities do not exist. Pay is rather low compared to the market.
Average benefits, with a few being taken away :(
There are a few great people, but the culture coming from upper management is disgusting, saying, "You're either with us or you should leave." Not very motivating or convincing.
Keep on rolling with your layoffs, and this company will follow Nokia's steps.
There were two coding rounds and one technical round; overall, a pleasant experience. There was a long time between application submission and when the interviewing process began, but the interviewing process was completed in a few weeks.
The experience was really good overall. Although certain questions seemed irrelevant, like file system architecture, it was overall a good mix of OS, DBMS, and computer network fundamentals. Thank you for your time.
Screening phone call, 15-minute introductory conversation. Technical interview consisted of asking basic OOP, 2 LeetCode Easy-Medium questions, and being asked about your project experience. Ghosted and rejected finally after a month.
