The below is about Chennai Cisco, based on my experience:

• It's not Cisco; this division was previously known as Scientific Atlanta, and they still follow the old work culture. If you expect Cisco work culture and join here, you will be highly disappointed. I joined here because of the brand name but was later disappointed. The work culture is similar to a service company; you will never feel you are working for Cisco.
• No work from home. No laptop (no laptop for engineers, but admin and finance have). Some teams provide both, but not all.
• No recognition. During the appraisal, they only concentrate on old employees. Lots of politics.
• If you are from a good company, this place will not suit you. People from small companies might like this place.
