The best thing about working at Cisco is that you get to work closely on network devices, and you get multiple sources to learn anything and everything.
Right from mentor to manager, all are always available to guide you. If you show your interest in the work assigned and would like to work on other features as well, they are always supportive.
They don't convert Co-Op into full-time.
Sincere advice to management: Cisco is almost every network engineer's dream company (mine for sure).
When Cisco hires a co-op, give them an opportunity to understand Cisco's work and culture and get tuned to it. Then, how can you just lose them after giving them almost a year of work experience?
Please do think about it.
It was fairly good and well organized. The team was very friendly and interactive. The interview process was smooth and finished the process in a week.
It was a one-round interview. It was predominantly on data science and large language models. They gave me a repo of an agent framework and asked me to find the code where reward is calculated.
The first round was essentially a screening interview with the recruiter. We mostly discussed my resume, past experiences, and had a general conversation about the company and the role. The second round was more technical. It involved a deeper dive
