A friendly environment between management and employees, a flexible work option, and nice perks.
Recruitment is very strange. Don't give importance to CCIEs, which is its own certification. Funny thing is, people with less experience and less technical knowledge are hired and paid hefty packages. I remember one of my colleagues, who doesn't know simple technical stuff like OSPF, was given an offer of 26+ lacs. Whereas talented techies are not even given a chance to attend an interview. No wonder why Cisco is not performing well recently.
Don't have the mindset of govt. offices. Give chance to talent.
Don't judge techies by their mouth. Real techies won't brag much, and only half-baked techies will advertise themselves. People with big mouths are given rewards.
I received a call from the recruiter, and an updated resume was provided. There were six rounds in total, including the telephonic round. Three rounds were with prospective colleagues, and two were with higher management.
The overall process was good. It covered everything on the resume. The process included technical rounds with three panels, managerial rounds, and finally, an HR round. The entire process took over a month. Prepare everything on your resume; you can
I had a total of 4 rounds of technical discussion, each lasting between 60 to 90 minutes. All rounds took place on the same day. I had been to Cisco in the morning and came out at 6 in the evening.
