So far, I haven't faced any micromanagement. I have been working with very good teams and managers. So many opportunities to learn new stuff. In-house daycare is a plus for working parents.
Sometimes the hike is not given for two years.

Data Engineer
They asked me about the projects I did and their implementation. Later, they went on to ask technical questions on DBMS (SQL, indexing), some ML stuff, and then some CSS (pseudo-class) and JS. It happened virtually on Teams.
Software Engineer
The interviewer was from a different domain than the applicant's. This did not help with the interview process. The interviewer asked about the projects the applicant had done and also made sure to inquire about all aspects of each project.
