HR when we were Scientific Atlanta was very good. HR at Cisco is not as responsive.
IT support has just been decimated with the latest restructuring (Aug 2011). It's all done now by telephone support from a remote location.
SPVTG does not yet have a clear path. However, senior management of the group has recently been changed, and these problems may be corrected. Change was indeed needed.
Please get a reasonable plan in place for SPVTG. There is a lot of uncertainty in the ranks because our current path forward is not only muddled but does not seem to match with either our understanding of our customer needs or our understanding of the technology and its trajectory. Our SPVTG senior management has seemed to have been jockeying for survival rather than trying to create an atmosphere of excellence. Siloing is still a major problem.
