Pros

The perks are good, but that's about it. There is the all-famed claim that "Cisco is a big company," but that is all that happens.

From the day you join till the end, you hear the same dialogue again and again. Everything is an acquired project, and no one has a clue about bringing it to shipshape quality.

The cafeteria is even outsourced, so to speak, and it was the worst caterers I've ever seen in my life. People raise complaints all the time, but it's of no use.

Occasionally, there's a fire drill for which we need to run downstairs; that's one thing I learned from there.

Cons

Sick management. Lack of vision. No proper management or visionary views. No guidance or mentoring in molding new employees into anything.

Advice to Management

Get to know your engineers and know their potential to provide them fair opportunities.

Stop giving away awards or recognitions to undeserving, noise-creating candidates.
