Inaccurate management decisions. No VP stays long; they keep shuffling crazily.
The company is just having fund inflow for the reason that they were in networking earlier than others. However, the end of the tunnel is not too far with the way management sees projects and customers. According to them, policies are keeping them in business. It's a good time to think again: money is playing the game, not innovation. Most acquisitions are a failure, as they acquire and later damage the empire acquired.
Shareholders are the guys of interest in business, I agree!
But just for the sake of stashed $68B cash, you can't go buying a solid built empire and kill it and its builders in the name of business always.
I can just remember an employee's state as, "A KFC chicken made to lay enough good eggs, and being killed in the name of business/stakeholders." By doing this, the chicken is said to be in served good royal/branded facilities compared to others. But yet, at the end, you just chop the hands of the people who helped you gain in a way or other!!!
Sad... a pure inhuman way, I feel...
One more thing... surviving in Cisco is like getting to know you have a cancer. Never know when you die... but mainly, every day/minute is like realizing you could be thrown out for no mistake of yours... [I am not removed here yet :-)]
I was called for a 1:1 interview at SJSU after the job fair. It was only for half an hour. I recently received a call for my second Webex interview, which I will update once it's done in a week. Overall, an easy first phase.
The interview started with a face-to-face round where the interviewer asked about my previous project experience, my role in the team, challenges faced, and how I solved them. They also asked a few technical concepts related to automation, JavaScrip
First Round: OA (Online Assessment) It has aptitude questions and CS core subject questions, mainly focusing on Computer Networks. It has two DSA questions: * A grid-based question using recursion and a Trie. * A graph-based question. Both DS
