There was no transparency in the role and nature of the job during the interview. After joining, they revealed the actual role. There was no work-life balance. I was expected to work late evenings and on weekends and to provide 24x7 support, although I was not informed about this before joining. The same happened with fellow team members.
Don't lie and hide during the interview. Be transparent with the process and let new joiners join the company with a correct understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
