As it's a very old and large company, there can be a lot of bureaucracy internally. Sometimes processes that you want to move fast on can be impacted by large, silly walls that you won't find in a lot of other places.

Not the best place to quickly get an idea from concept to market, but this depends on the team.

Cut down on the amount of siloed resources and find a way to open up the opportunity for invention and engineering across the company. I understand that this is something in the works, but work needs to be done faster in this area.
