Cisco is the leading company in networking. It shows strong leadership and mindset.
The traditional competitor is more and more far away.
Now Cisco drives innovation proactively in the Web 2.0 world and provides more attractive products and services, such as Telepresence and Webex.
Change is the corporate culture. If you do not change yourself, you will be changed by others or out. :)
Salary is not competitive and has not increased in quite a long time. The compensation plan is not good.
Promotion is not easily recognized, and sometimes you have to stay in the same position for over years.
The Human Resource department does not value staff.
