Pros
  • Friendly, helpful people all around.
  • A genuine desire to do new and innovative things.
  • Decent mid to senior-level management.
Cons
  • Top management is afraid to cut losses or innovate for the long term.
  • The pace is a bit slow compared to FAANG companies.
  • Internal tool sprawl is ridiculous.
  • Budget processes are very broken, causing quarterly see-sawing.
Advice to Management

Make room for big bets by announcing end-of-life commitment for any products that have been going for 5+ years but are barely breaking even (or losing).

Some of the ELT needs to retire and make room for someone who wants to grow the company rather than defend their turf.
