Pros

Very competitive base salary, plus bonus and benefits package. There is also a great work and life balance. Flexibility to work from home is offered. Tons of training opportunities are available to develop your career, along with great opportunities to move to different cities or countries.

Cons

It can be hard to get promotions. Too much bureaucracy and politics because the management is not very flat/lineal.

Advice to Management

Get rid of all the layers where managers manage other managers. Try to make it flatter as an organization.

Individual Contributors > Manager > Director > VP > SVP > C-Level.

For the most part, the way things are today is: Individual Contributors > Manager > Sr. Manager > Director > Director > Sr. Director > VP > SVP > C-Level.

That creates too much bureaucracy and issues for the individual contributor to get promotions and salary hikes.
