Cisco cannot keep its talent. It has recently laid off many senior and experienced professionals and is hiring inexperienced engineers to cut costs. Where do those experienced professionals go? FAANG. These young and smart engineers will only stay at Cisco for a couple of years before leaving for FAANG as well. Upper management needs to consider the reasons why.
The interview process was well streamlined. It included: * One interview with human resources * Four tech interviews with four distinct people in the team I would have worked in * One interview with the hiring manager
