I applied through the careers page and received a 45-minute telephone code-pair round scheduled for the following week.
The interviewer seemed quite dull to talk to, typical of trading developers. However, the round went decently well. There were two questions; I completed the first and almost finished coding the second. I also managed to explain the algorithm for the second question, which the interviewer said he was fine with.
For weeks afterward, the recruiter literally ghosted me. She did not provide the results despite my sending multiple follow-ups each week. She consistently replied that she would get back to me "asap" but would eventually forget.
I was ultimately not offered the position, and I simply don't understand how difficult it is to maintain a basic sense of decency and professionalism when you expect the same from the candidates you interview. I have interviewed with many firms, but this was by far the most terrible and inhumane experience I've had.
