Cons: You're just a pawn for management.

Pros: Money is good. Interesting work. Everyone happy to help everyone else.

Cons: Very long hours, working late and early, etc.

Pros: Work with really smart people who want to get things done and deliver results for the business. A strong culture of meritocracy. Everybody in engineering is technical, including the senior managers. Therefore, you have so many opportunities to learn from people and develop as an engineer. Engineering sits and works very closely with the business and is basically part of the business area itself. There is a very healthy relationship with the business, and the business sees technology as a key enablement to the business itself.

Cons: In some areas, there is a lot of legacy code. In general, there are a lot of concrete steps being taken to uplift this and move to a better place, but it is a big challenge.
