Cons: The pace is intense—there’s always a lot to do and learn. Hours can be long, and the hyper-growth environment means constant change. These are exciting challenges, but you definitely need to be ready for it.

Pros: Clay is truly a rocketship. The company is at the forefront of building a categorically different product, and being part of that innovation is both exciting and fulfilling. Every day feels like a learning opportunity—I genuinely feel like I grow so much from one day to the next. The work environment is one of the most supportive I’ve ever experienced. It feels completely safe to not have all the answers, and the team is always kind, collaborative, and eager to help you succeed. The GTM team, in particular, is filled with non-salesy, highly effective individuals, making it a refreshing and impactful group to work with. The culture is unique in the best way possible—extremely nerdy, curious, and kind. The chill vibe is spot-on; it’s easy to show up as your authentic self here. If you’re looking for a place where you can feel challenged, supported, and genuinely excited about the work you’re doing, Clay is it. Also, the perks here are top-notch. Cons: Honestly, it’s hard to come up with cons for Clay. The only potential downside is that it’s extremely fast-paced, and you can’t be passive in your role. It forces you to stay engaged and take initiative, which I personally see as a positive. However, I’ve noticed that the pace can lead to burnout for some people, mainly because they are so curious and excited about what they do that they can lose sight of how much they work. Working at Clay is definitely challenging—but in the best way. It’s not the right fit if you’re not ready to put in the effort and contribute to building a unicorn. The high expectations are balanced by an incredibly supportive team, but this environment requires a proactive mindset and a willingness to grow every day. I do think it will be one of the best organizations I'll work at in my career.
