I applied through a staffing agency.

It was a long process; they took 6 rounds and told me everything was good. Then they stopped communication, and after a few days, the recruiter mentioned they are going with some other candidate.

This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. Anyone who is going to interview should just clarify right in the beginning how many rounds there will be. For my future self, I have decided that if anyone says more than 3, I am going to withdraw my candidacy.
