It used to be an amazing company.
Before the merger with Hortonworks, it was a phenomenal company to work for. But since the merger and subsequent buyout by a PE firm, there is no more stock, so TC dropped in half, and the organization became incredibly top-heavy.
Overall, most talented folks have left this company, and it's sadly a shadow of its former self.
Good job with convincing the former CEO to leave. Now you should trim the management and create a new relevant vision for the company.
