Process

Applied online and received a test with 10 questions from the team lead. Submitted the test within 10 days and received an email from the recruiter for next steps.

A virtual panel round was set with 5 interviewers. All 4 were great, but 1 interviewer seemed uninterested in the interview. He gave off negative vibes and was demotivating when I couldn’t answer a couple of questions.

Questions

How would you handle escalations and prioritize them? How will you mitigate Layer-3, 4, and 7 attacks? What are Layer-7 protocols and describe them. Explain how DNS works.

Programming Questions (not a part of job requirement as such but was grilled over it): How will you convert an integer to a variable? How will you perform a search in the bash shell? What is the difference between a list and a tuple?

How does load balancing work? What are the disadvantages of SD-WAN over the internet? What is MPLS?
