Lengthy is the short way to put it, although some of that is definitely because Covid has shifted how companies interview.

It started with a short video chat with the hiring manager. The next stage, which would have been an on-site full-day visit with interviews with team members and a couple of other folks, instead became a series of spaced-out video interviews. This included peers, adjacent managers, and finished with another chat with the hiring manager. This second stage also accounted for a technical skills interview.

Making it past that stage led to video interviews with two C-levels, and the final interview was a call with the head of HR.
