Toxic work environment - Incompetent management with a lot of politics
- Good tech stack
- Opportunity to learn
- A lot of politics in management and employee retention within the company is not based on work/skill.
- Think twice before joining if you belong to a minority, as harassment is common and diversity efforts are nothing more than an eyewash.
- If you are not in the habit of social drinking, you might feel unwelcome.
- The CEO/COO and a handful of people in engineering management are total sadist/narcissistic predators. Employees who are vocal about this are usually moved to different office locations in the name of re-organization, and many good/skilled employees left the company.
- Also, I intuitively felt some religious means of control in the company, but I don't want to talk further about it.
