I applied online. The process took 5 weeks.
The interview process is made up of 3 stages. After an initial chat with a hiring manager, it goes to a live coding interview. If successful, the onsite is made up of:
- Problem solving (incident simulation)
- System design
Throughout, no AI is allowed to be used.
Questions
The problem-solving interview was a fictional incident simulation where, given a system design and a problem users face, you need to dig through with the interviewer to identify the root cause.

Pros: - Good things going for the company technologically.
- Young research vibe.
- Some very talented colleagues.
Cons: The structure of the company is flat and chaotic. Teams are physically sick and burning out. Leadership seems to know this and is not doing anything about it.
There's no pay transparency for your own position, let alone others.
There's talk about culture, but in reality, lower-level employees are holding it up with toothpicks.
The manipulation by leadership and the People/HR team is mind-blowing.
There are no boundaries. Leadership seems to rely on this to keep things unhealthily competitive. Poor behavior goes unchecked.
