Pros: Well-paid for new grads in Canada.

Cons: The offer was rescinded, so I must look for another job.

Pros: Smart and ambitious coworkers Always raising the bar A good amount of young people Fun place to work, great perks!

Cons: Bro culture is very strong. They try to disguise it, but when you are a minority and a person of color, it's very clear. Generally self-centered people who want success for themselves. They only care about you if you are raising the bar for the company. Bad leadership decisions are questionable. Advice to anyone considering Coinbase: Save yourself the trouble and don't. Just be cautious; sometimes money is not everything. A bad company culture with diversity issues and a lack of leadership will reveal itself soon enough. I liked Coinbase as a company before I joined. * Diversity hire

Pros: - Fair compensation - Opportunities to grow - Good exec team

Cons: Sometimes, I feel that in order to grow inside the company, you'll need more agency than to actually get the "job done" (aka politics). Some orgs can have bad managers. For performance cycles, writing documents is sometimes more important than writing and pushing code.
