Process

Recruiter call. Technical 1 with two other SDET IIIs. Technical 2 with the Director of QA and another SDET III. Technical 3 with a Principal Engineer II and the Engineering Manager that the role reports to. I did great in the technicals and didn't really care that I wasn't selected for the role. However, the 'negative' experience was being ghosted for two months after the final round with no feedback or communication from the laziest recruiter I've ever met. He was more interested in playing golf and sleeping in.

Questions

All interviews involved describing your background and answering some basics about your software testing approach. All technicals involved your average LeetCode easy-type question, especially ones that are open to optimization, using a hashmap, etc. One of the interviews had two logic questions. The final interview asked about the difference between unit testing and integration testing.
