I was referred by a friend at Comcast, and HR said my resume was good. Then I got a call to attend an interview directly at the Comcast office, and it was a face-to-face interview.
I came to the office, but the arrangement was okay-ish. There were like 250+ people, and each person was separated into groups. I was the last person to be interviewed. I waited for like 3 hours patiently.
In the interview, they said they needed 5-7 years of experience, and I only had 2. Then they could have informed me earlier, right?
The HR said he applied my resume for the wrong position.
The hiring manager said I had a good skill set, but then they could not even send a rejection email. I wasted my day with a walk-in interview at Comcast.
But the good thing is they offered lunch for all the people who came there, and people seemed to be nice.
