Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Jose, California

Process

The process took 3 rounds.

15 min recruiter screening, then 30 min technical screening with an engineer.

The last is onsite where 2 to 3 engineers ask you technical questions for 45 min, followed by a behavioral from a manager for 15 min.

They mostly ask about projects on your resume, and in the end, they ask you to share your screen while you code on an IDE.

The onsite interviewing engineers were not the people you'd want to work with; one of them just kept talking in a muffled voice.

The recruiter is really ineffective in communicating these requirements, like having something installed on your laptop to code, despite having emailed and called them.
